Once HKFBF Team got into the stadium at early morning 8am, everything is so smooth and running in plan, Both of our contestants Jaffy So and Andy Wong, even though they are in different time zone, but the spirit was so high, and everyone in the team is very supporting, therefore, no appears of any exhausted face.
Until the time arrived at 12pm, almost Jaffy and Andy, well prepared and pump up and also oil up. And Also when the Men Bobybuilding gonna start at a moment , suddenly the electricity of whole stadium gone out. and we all have to wait in dark. some bodybuilders still pumping not attention to the black out. but very soon we all knew the power will not return back very soon.
Then its the critical moment, Jaffy and Andy is all the way pump up, and now will wait and cool down, I run back and back to check them up, and finally Jaffy ask for a energy drink, and you can see how exhausted they were, and Jet-lag is hitting. I ran to the front stage and luckily they have some supplement booth open at the entrance door. I got the drink and got back to Jaffy and Andy. and they all lie down and very tired.
Gave them the drink and ran back to front audience stage , and the light suddenly back up, and everything start once again.
first is Lightweight, and then is Andy Wong Welter weight class, he did fine, but maybe affect by the cool down too long. he seem so lose some concentration.
After Andy, is Jaffy Light Middle weight class, all contestants out on the stage, line up like 12 to 15 guys. all in good form. including Rolley holland team new atheletic. and great bodybuilder from Brasil and Russia.
But Jaffy has call to a second round line up for compulsory posing, we all know he got a chance to be top five, therefore, we yell and specially Hugo Chan yell the most to notice Jaffy what is lacking on the posing, of course, at that moment, so big the stage, so bright the lighting, Jaffy seem forget the muscle part has to be tighten, this is very usual for every bodybuilders when they on new stage.
but Fortunately, HKFBF has created a new history of Hong Kong Bodybuilding in almost 70 yrs. the every first one hong kong bodybuilder can compete in Arnold Amateur and can be get in the top 5. Congratulation to HKFBF team and Jaffy So.Also have full support Andy Wong, he did what he had to do. and try the best, but HKFBF promise every members bodybuilders, fully support and always a chance to create a new level of your bodybuilding carreer.
